Observed Meets

The PNS Officials Committee is currently developing standards and protocols to determine which meets may qualify for Observed Meet status.  In the interim; only meets that have traditionally been approved as Observed will be accepted.  No New Meets.  If in doubt, contact Mike Murphy.  If your meet is on the previously approved list then:

Complete the MS Word or the PDF version of Form B and send to Mike Murphy  (swimoff1@gmail.com).

Mike will add the meet to the PNS list and forward to Dave Withrow (PNS Officials Chair) for Signature.

Dave will forward to USA Swimming for final approval.

All requests must be submitted to USA Swimming at least 10 days prior to the meet.  No late applications will be accepted.

Special note:  Coaches and data entry people should ensure that teams use the swimmer’s  "legal" name.  Any nickname should be recorded in the “preferred name” area. The swimmer’s birthday and year of birth must be entered in the appropriate boxes in their hy-tek products.
