You’re Invited to Come & Play at Dave & Buster’s!
PNS DEI is sponsoring a pre-season social event to network and get to know the swimmers in our region. Please share with your swimmers and coaches!
Hello, PNS swimmers! Whether you swim in Tacoma, Bellingham or anywhere in between (or further south, east, or west!), you're part of Pacific Northwest Swimming, the regional swimming committee that helps organize and support all the USAS teams in western Washington.
The DEI committee, as you may have guessed, supports and celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization. To kick off the 2025-26 swim season, we're hosting a social event for all PNS swimmers (this includes you!) on Saturday, September 27 from 1:30-4:30 at the Auburn Dave & Buster's. We will have snacks and $20 arcade cards to give out to registered participants. Space is limited, so we hope you'll register today!
This is strictly a social event to network with other swimmers and build community. We'll also be inviting interested swimmers to share their stories and, if interested, to give us permission to share their stories on our Instagram channel (@pnsdiversity).
Attached is a flyer with the address to RSVP to reserve your spot, as well as the address. We hope to see some of you on the 27th!
In addition, we are interested in recruiting swimmers, coaches, or family members who want to become more involved in DEI work within the swimming world to join our committee. Our goal is to have DEI committee representation from every PNS team! If you think you might be interested, please reach out with any questions!
