KONA 2026 Senior Spring Invite

We’re building something really special here in Hawaiʻi with the Kona Senior Spring Invite. It is a meet that brings together fast swimming, meaningful connection, and the spirit of Aloha.

We are thrilled to invite you to the 2nd Annual Kona Senior Spring Invite in stunning Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi! Join us March 18–21, 2026 for four unforgettable days of fast swimming, island adventures, and cultural experiences, followed by our signature Open Water Swim on the same course used for the Ironman World Championships on Sunday, March 22.

🌊 Fast Swimming Meets Paradise

With time standards set between Hawaiian Senior Champs and Western Zone Seniors, KSSI creates a sweet spot for high-level racing that’s still accessible to a wide range of senior athletes. We’ve added 50s of stroke this year and are capping the meet at 400 swimmers to ensure efficient sessions; giving your team more time to explore the island.

🌋 Island Culture & Adventure

From traditional Hawaiian performances to breathtaking beaches, historic landmarks, waterfalls, and volcanoes, this is more than a meet, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for your athletes and families.

🏊 Open Water Race – March 22

Swim in Kailua Bay which is the same location used for the Ironman World Championships! Whether your team is already passionate about open water or looking to try something new, this 2.4 mile race is an unforgettable add-on to your trip.

💥 Bonus: Relay-Only Swimmers

Relay-only athletes may compete in the 100 IM, and doing so qualifies them for up to 6 bonus events!
